Apprentice Early Years Educator
The Tots Team in Leeds is looking for a passionate, enthusiastic, and caring individual to join our nursery team as a Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprentice. This apprenticeship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working towards a nationally recognised Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification.
You will work alongside experienced practitioners to support children's learning, development, and wellbeing in a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment. Throughout the apprenticeship, you will develop the knowledge, skills, and behaviours required to become a qualified Early Years Educator, helping children reach their full potential through play-based learning and positive interactions.
Key Responsibilities
As a Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprentice, you will:
Support the delivery of high-quality childcare and early education for children aged 0-5 years. Assist in planning and implementing engaging activities that support children's learning and development. Promote children's physical, emotional, social, and intellectual wellbeing.Build positive relationships with children, parents, carers, and colleagues. Observe, monitor, and record children's progress in line with nursery procedures. Encourage children's independence, confidence, and self-esteem. Ensure all activities are inclusive and meet the needs of individual children. Help maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating learning environment. Support children's personal care routines, including toileting, changing, feeding, and hygiene practices. Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and welfare procedures at all times. Assist with preparing resources and learning materials. Attend team meetings, training sessions, and apprenticeship workshops. Complete coursework and assignments required for the Level 3 qualification within agreed timescales. Act as a positive role model and uphold the values and standards of The Tots Team.
Training:
You will attend college once per month at our College House campus on Park Lane, Leeds. You will also learn on the job by shadowing other members of staff and following the instructions of you workplace mentor and Line Manager.
Training Outcome:
Successful completion of the apprenticeship may lead to a permanent role as a Qualified Early Years Educator with The Tots Team, alongside opportunities for further training and career progression within the early years sector.

Working Hours :
