Apprentice Dental Nurse

 

We will provide the candidate with comprehensive training and guidance in both surgical and reception duties. They will also gain extensive experience in assisting with orthodontic treatments and working alongside our Specialist Minor Oral Surgeons, who perform complex extraction work and other general dentistry treatments. As an Apprentice Dental Nurse, your role will be to assist the dentist with all clinical aspects within the surgery. This also includes:

Always greet and care for all patients in a polite and courteous manner Work closely with the dentist in a professional and appropriate manner Provide chairside assistance during all dental procedures Update computer records and taking notes Cleaning surgeries to a high level, maintaining strict cross-infection controls Preparing instruments and materials during treatments Carry out reception and administrative tasks where required

Training:

Your training will take place 1 day per month at Freemens Park Campus.



Training Outcome:

To become a fully qualified Dental Nurse and receptionist.

As an enhanced training practice, we always encourage our staff to go for further training, e.g. In Oral Health, Radiography etc.

This is an approved Foundation Training Private/NHS dental practice based in Leicester where dentistry and patient care is delivered with compassion and kindness. We also carry out orthodontic treatment and have Specialist Surgeons performing Minor Oral Surgery.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday, 9am- 5pm – Saturday morning (optional).
