As a Class 1 Driver, your responsibilities may include:
Driving Class 1 curtain-sided and double deck trailersA mixture of live deliveries and drop and swaps Some unloading may be requiredCompleting daily vehicle checks and defect reportingDelivering goods safely, professionally and on timeFollowing all Road Transport, Working Time Directive and Driver Hours regulationsCompleting all relevant paperwork and electronic records accuratelyPlease note that a driving assessment may be required before your first shift.

What We're Looking For
To be considered for this role, you will need:
A valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Driving LicenceA minimum of 12 months commercial Class 1 driving experienceA valid UK Driver CPC qualification (DCPC)A valid Digital Tachograph CardA good understanding of Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulationsOur client may accept up to 6 penalty points, however applications with DD, DR, CD, IN or TT endorsements cannot be accepted.
