Early Years Practitioner L3 Apprenticeship
The apprentice will be working alongside an experienced staff member
Undertake specific tasks related to the safety and hygiene of the children and the cleanliness of the setting. This should be done in a respectful way that's appropriate for the child's needs, stage of development, and dignity
Planning and carrying out learning programs for children, such as activities, reading, and educational games. These programs should be appropriate for the children's needs and developmental stage
Working with parents to share information about their child's needs and progress. This can include communicating daily about their child's activities
Working as part of a team, attending meetings, and sharing ideas
Supporting all staff and engaging in a good team spirit
Adhering to all company policies and procedures, and ensuring child welfare, protection, health, safety, and safeguarding policies are followed
Training:
Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship Standard
Functional Skills maths and English (if required)
Work-based learning
Training schedule has yet to be agreed upon, further details will be made available at a later date
Training Outcome:
At the end of the apprentice programme, you could be offered a permanent position in our nursery or a new training qualification
Employer Description:
We are a busy private own day nursery located in a small village. We are registered for children from 3 months to 5 years and we are open 7.30am - 6pm, 5 days a week, for 51 weeks in a year.
Working Hours :
9.00am - 6.00pm (exact shift times & days to be confirmed).
