FAST Senior Social Worker

A Local Authority in Norfolk is looking for a Senior Social Worker to join their FAST Team (Family Assessment and Safeguarding Team).

This is a Locum Social Work role.
The ideal Social Worker will have extensive experience with Children’s Safeguarding work – as this is the kind of cases that will be focussed on.

The key to success in this role is to be able to take hold of complex cases independently from the beginning of the contract with confidence.

Your responsibilities as a FAST Senior Social Worker:

Manage a complex caseload
Take part in court proceedings
Constant monitoring and reviewing of cases
Work with other agencies and professionals to create the best possible outcomes for children and young people involved

Requirements of you as a FAST Senior Social Worker:

A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
A valid Social Work England registration
Have competent knowledge and experience of Children’s Safeguarding work
A valid UK Driving Licence and vehicle is essential for this role


Location: Great Yarmouth, Norfolk
Pay rate: £45.00 per hour or £40.00 per hour plus a weekly allowance
