Level 2 Site Carpentry Apprenticeship

Work under the supervision of a mentor Learn to build or install doors, frameworks, floors, Kitchens’ units/worktops, fixed furniture, and other wooden fixtures used in buildings, using woodworking machines, carpenter's hand tools, and power tools Learn to remove damaged or defective parts or sections of structures, including roofs, and repair or replace, using hand tools Learn to install structures and fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, trim, and hardware, using carpenter's hand and power tools Learn to install timber roof structures, including truss and rafter construction and formation of dormers Learn to install and repair fascias, soffits, and gutters in a variety of materials Learn to finish surfaces of woodwork or wallboard in houses and buildings, using paint, hand tools, and paneling

Training:
Attend a level 2 site carpentry college course - 1 day a week

Training Outcome:
Level 3 Apprenticeship in Site Carpentry Site Supervisor Site Manager Contracts Manager

Monday - Thursday, 7.30am - 4.30pm and Friday, 7.30am - 3.30pm
