Apprentice Engineer - Material Handling Equipment

Routine servicing of forklift trucks and other equipment. Fault diagnosis (electrical, hydraulic and mechanical). Repair and refurbishment of trucks. All work supervised by experienced and skilled mentors.

Training:
Level 3 Lift Truck and Powered Access Engineering Technician Apprenticeship. Five block release training weeks each year. Training provided by SMB College Group, Loughborough (transport provided if required). Functional Skills in English and Maths if required.

Training Outcome:
On completion of the apprenticeship, you will become either a workshop-based or field-based engineer. Previous apprentices have progressed into Team Leader and Management roles within the company.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm (3:30pm on Fridays)
