Engineering Manufacturing Support Technician Apprentice

Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include:

Learning how to follow the PCB population schedule and prepare jobs for the SMT line Supporting the inspection process to make sure boards meet quality standards Learning how to select and run the correct SMT programs and profiles for each job Operating SMT equipment safely under supervision Reading and understanding engineers’ drawings with guidance Assisting with setting up Automatic Pasting Equipment Working with small electronic components, circuit boards, box-build, wiring Following build instructions and assembly drawings Carrying out visual inspection of assemblies Working as part of a team to achieve production schedule

Training:

Day(s) release to South West Durham Training, Newton Aycliffe TBC. 



Training Outcome:

Full time role in either the SMT or Conventional Assembly teams.

Monday – Thursday: 07:30 – 16:15 Friday: 07:30 – 12:00
