Apprentice Mechatronics Maintenance Technician
Main duties will include:
Work within the technical department with a view to learning all aspects of coffee/vending machine maintenance. Prepare/PDI new and used vending & coffee equipment ready for installation on customer sites. Assist the main workshop engineer in fault finding on customer-owned equipment brought in for repair. Maintain workshop area, keep the area clean. Assist install engineer at various customer sites if delivery requires additional labour. Learn all aspects of vending/coffee machine maintenance and set-up procedures with a view to being a field-based service engineer.Training:
Upon successful completion of the course, learners will be awarded with a Level 3 Mechatronics MaintenanceTechnician Apprenticeship Standard, which includes the following:
EAL Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge) (603/1353/5)For the End Point Assessment (EPA) apprentices will undertake a professional interview underpinned by a portfolio of evidence and a professional competency assessment, followed by questions. Apprentices are expected to attend college one day per week (term-time only) at the Ipswich Road campus, located near Norwich city centre.
Training Outcome:
The business is looking for somebody who wants to develop and gain a position following their apprenticeship. This role will lead to a field based service engineer within our technical team supporting our vast and varied customer base where good coffee and customer service is important.

Regional Vending operator covering the geographics of East Anglia, Coffee roaster and wholesaler, capital equipment supplier across vending and coffee equipment, fresh food manufacturer for wholesale and our vending clients.
Working Hours :
Monday to Friday 8am - 4,30pm.
