Carpentry Apprentice

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Carpentry Apprentice to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone wanting to begin a career in the construction industry while gaining hands on experience alongside skilled tradespeople. 

The succesful candidate will assist with a range of carpentry and construction tasks on residential projects while working towards a recognised qualification. 

Daily Tasks will include: 

Measuring Cutting  Assembling timber and other materials Assisting with the installation of doors, flooring, kitchens, roofing and frameworks Maintaining tools and equipment  Keeping work areas clean and safe

Training:
Full on-the-job training will be provided alongside block release/college attendance, working towards a recognised Carpentry and Joinery qualification The apprentice will receive training in the safe use of hand and power tools Measuring and installation techniques, site health and safety, reading drawings, and general construction skills, while working alongside experienced tradespeople and other site trades

Training Outcome:

Succesful completion of the apprenticeship could lead to a full time position within the company. There will be opportunities to progress into qualified carpentry roles, gain further industry experience, and continue to develop skills across different areas of construction and site work for the right candidate.

We are a family run business based in Torquay. We have over 24 years of hands on experience in the building trade. We focus on property maintenance, refurbishments and home improvements. 

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday, 8.00am - 5.00pm
