Quantity Surveying Apprenticeship
Assist with preparing budgets and cost estimates for construction projects
Support the monitoring and control of project costs
Help measure and value work completed on-site
Assist in preparing financial reports, cash flow forecasts, and cost updates
Maintain accurate records of project income and expenditure
Support the selection and coordination of subcontractors
Help review contracts and assist with contractual matters
Ensure documentation is organised, stored, and updated correctly
Follow and apply health and safety procedures on-site and in the office
Work closely with the project team and attend meetings where required
Training:
The apprentice will complete a combination of on-the-job training and structured learning with Exeter College. Training will take place in the workplace and at college on a day-release basis, typically one day per week.
They will work towards a Level 4 qualification in Construction and the Built Environment, supported by experienced staff and a dedicated college assessor throughout the apprenticeship.
