Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship
Provide personal, health and welfare support to pupils
Ensure pupil safety and access to learning
Build positive relationships and meet individual needs
Promote inclusion, equality and pupil independence
Support classroom activities and teacher-led learning
Assist with behaviour management and monitor progress
Maintain records and carry out admin tasks
Prepare classroom, resources and displays
Support literacy, numeracy and basic ICT
Follow safeguarding, health and safety procedures
Work with staff, parents and other professionals
Supervise pupils during breaks, trips and activities
Training Outcome:
Progression opportunities include full-time Teaching Assistant roles, specialist or SEN support positions, Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), or further study leading to teacher training and a career in teaching
