Food and Beverage Apprenticeship
Key responsibilities will include working towards the following:
Welcome customers and provide excellent customer service Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional manner Prepare and present food and drinks to company standards Operate tills and process customer payments Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the venue Assist with stock rotation, replenishment and storage Follow all food safety, health and safety, and licensing regulations Deal sensitively and politely with any complaints or issues Support colleagues to ensure smooth day to day operations Assist with promotions and social media Participate fully in apprenticeship training and complete any required courseworkTraining:
Food and Beverage Team Member Standard English and Maths (if required) Level 2
Training Outcome:
It is possible that there may be future potential to move forward to supervisor or management positions for those showing aptitude or desire for further training.
Employer Description:
Phoenix Leisure Ltd has three component parts including The Forum, a family amusement centre, Saltwater, a fish and chip takeaway and restaurant serving traditional seaside food and Sweetwater, a specialist coffee shop and ice cream parlour also serving light lunches and snacks.
Working Hours :
A rota system, will include one weekend day. Expectation in summer of some evening working, shifts split into morning, afternoon and evening. Option to extend their working hours in summer over 30. In winter the hours are generally 9.30am to 4.30pm.
