Service Charge Accountant Administrator

Job Title: Service Charge Accountant Administrator Contract: Permanent Location: East London Salary: £23,000 - £25,000 per annum (dependent on experience and qualifications)Purpose of the Role I am representing a client based in East London, who are after a highly organised Service Charge Accounts Administrator to come and work alongside our current Accounts Administrator.

The client are happy to look at providing study support for AAT qualifications.Main Responsibilities

Applying Leaseholder payments and reconciling Client bank accounts
Raising and issuing of service charge and ground rent demands
Processing Invoices
Producing year-end forecasted expenditure reports, estimated Service Charge budgets and summary letters for property managers, senior managers, and Client’s approval
Entering accruals and prepayments as and when required throughout the year
Regular review of income, expenditure, and cash flow of blocks
Preparation of periodic income and expenditure reports
Assisting the Accountants with the preparation of year end files and reports
Assisting with preparation for AGM’s where required in a financial capacity
Being first point of contact for leaseholder and client account related enquires

Requirements

1+ Years accounts experience (ideally within the property sector)
Highly organised and attention to detail
Excellent communicator both verbally and written
Good communications skills with customers, clients, and other members of staff
Good knowledge of Microsoft software - word, excel etc.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm or 9.00am to 5.30pm
