Apprentice Civil Engineering Technician

You will get involved in real project work from day one, as part of a team designing real infrastructure and learning through hands on experience. 

Your duties will include:

Creating engineering drawings using industry software like AutoCAD and Civils 3D Applying basic engineering principles to support designs and solve practical problems Supporting the design of drainage, roads, junctions, and external works Helping develop 3D models used to design and coordinate projects Working with engineers, architects, and contractors on live projects Attending meetings and seeing how projects are managed from start to finish

Training:
Training will take place both in the workplace and at college You will attend Future Skills College one day per week for your formal training

Training Outcome:
This placement is a starting point for building a career in engineering For the right candidate, it may lead to the opportunity to progress into a degree and graduate engineer position within the business

We’re a director-led multi office civil and structural engineering consultancy working on a wide range of projects including; new builds like housing, school, hospitals, warehousing, and infrastructure.  We design roads, drainage and external works, and support projects from early ideas through to detailed design and construction.

You’ll be part of a team working on real projects, alongside experienced engineers who will support you as you build your skills and confidence.

Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:30
