Hairdressing Apprentice

Welcome clients and provide excellent customer service Assist stylists during client appointments Shampoo, condition and treat hair and scalp Prepare clients for cutting, colouring and styling services Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic salon environment Prepare and mix hair colouring products under supervision Support with blow-drying, styling and finishing hair Manage appointments and assist with client consultations Replenish products and maintain salon presentation Learn new hairdressing techniques from experienced stylists

Training:
Complete the Level 2 Hair Professional Apprenticeship standard Attend college on a day-release basis at South Hampshire College Group Receive hands-on training in the salon alongside experienced stylists Build a portfolio of work to demonstrate your learning and progress Receive regular reviews and support from a Professional Trainer Complete an end-point assessment to achieve the apprenticeship qualification

Training Outcome:

Successful completion of the apprenticeship could lead to a permanent role within the salon and the opportunity to progress onto the Level 3 Advanced & Creative Hair Professional Apprenticeship to further develop your skills.

Working Hours :
The salon open times are below: Tuesday – 9am to 8pm Wednesday – 9am to 8pm Thursday – 9am to 8pm Friday – 9am to 8pm Saturday – 8:30am to 4:30pm You will work on a shift pattern with Sunday and Monday off.
