Construction Plant Operative apprentice
Assist in operating plant equipment (e.g. excavators, forward tipping dumpers, rollers) in line with site requirements and training level
Carry out pre-start, running, and shutdown checks on plant machinery
Support excavation, lifting, grading, and material movement activities
Follow work instructions, method statements, and risk assessments
Maintain plant equipment in a clean and serviceable condition
Communicate effectively with site teams, including banksmen and supervisors
Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental regulations
Record information accurately (e.g. daily checks, logs, defects)
Support general site duties when required
Training:
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

Monday - Thursday, 07.30 - 17.00. Friday, 07:30 - 16:00.
