Apprentice Dispensary Assistant
Unpacking and checking incoming stock deliveries
Stock rotation and stock management
Assisting with the preparation of prescriptions for dispensing under supervision
Serving patients at the dispensary counter
Dealing with patient enquiries both in person and over the telephone
Processing and issuing repeat prescription requests
Training:
The Business and Customer Service Apprenticeship will take you 15 months to complete, and is accomplished in the workplace
You will be expected to attend college at least fortnightly throughout the year where you will receive one-to-one support from your assessor and functional skills tutors
Training Outcome:
This apprenticeship offers a clear pathway for career progression
Upon successful completion, the successful candidate may have the opportunity to continue their development within the practice and be supported to undertake a Level 2 Dispensing Qualification, leading towards becoming a qualified Dispenser
