Multi-Trade Apprenticeship

Undertake a structured apprenticeship programme and actively participate in personal learning and development. Assist with a wide range of day-to-day property maintenance tasks across multiple trades. Support routine repairs, maintenance and improvement works to council houses. Learn and apply practical skills in areas such as carpentry, plumbing, painting, minor electrical works and general building maintenance. Assist in ensuring buildings are safe, secure and compliant with relevant regulations. Maintain tools, equipment and work areas in a clean and safe condition. Work with other teams, contractors and colleagues to support service delivery. Ensure accurate completion of job records and documentation where required. Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve services and processes. Demonstrate a customer-focused approach when working in occupied properties or public buildings.

Training:

The training will be college based, traveeling to either Bristol or Gloucester College once a week.

Training Outcome:

Progression to a Multi-Trade or specialist operative.
