Programming, setting and operating CNC machines (under supervision) Preparing tooling, fixtures and measuring equipment Working from drawings, routings, works instructions carrying out instructions

Training:
An apprenticeship allows you to earn a wage, gain valuable work experience and industry specific competence You will be expected to work towards the Level 3 Machining Technician, with support from your employer and the Chesterfield College Group As part of your apprenticeship, and dependent on your prior attainment, you may be required to complete English and maths
Functional Skills which is an integral part of your apprenticeship Upon successful completion you will be awarded additional certificates of recognition for these qualifications

Training Outcome:
Potential full-time position upon completion of the apprenticeship

Working Hours :
Monday to Thursday, 7.00am - 3.30pm and Friday, 7.00am - 2.30pm
