Apprentice Early Years Practitioner
To provide a safe, caring, stimulating educational environment, both indoors and outdoors, at all times.
To deliver an appropriate play based Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum that enables children to make individual progress.
To help ensure the preschool meets Ofsted requirements at all times.
To understand and work to preschool policies and procedures, including how to deal with child protection issues appropriately and how to respond to incidents, accidents,complaints and emergencies.
To support key person/persons.
To ensure records are properly maintained, e.g. daily attendance register, accident and incident book, risk assessments.
To work in partnership with senior management to update and review the self evaluation and improvement plan.
To undertake any other reasonable duties as directed, in accordance with the preschool aims and objectives.
Training:
The training will take place at the Training Centre in Dorchester on a weekly basis during term time.
Training Outcome:
We do look to keeping our staff however a permanent position cannot be guaranteed and will depend on staff requirements at the time.
Employer Description:
We are an Ofsted registered, non-profit registered charity. We provide Early Years Care and Education for children aged 2 to 5 years.
Working Hours :
The working week is Monday to Friday, during term time. 8.00am - 4.00pm - apart from the training day.
