Occupational TherapistDoncaster£29,310 - £47,672 per year DOEAA/DN/10995/1A leading provider of specialist learning disability services is now looking for a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join the team at their Doncaster residential village, where adults who have learning disabilities, often alongside ASD and other complex needs, are supported to live independently and stay engaged with the community on their own terms.As an Occupational Therapist, you will assess, deliver targeted interventions to, and advocate for residents with complex needs in a safe and engaging environment, supporting them to develop key activity skills, become more independent, and live a lifestyle of their own choosing.

Senior OTs will also be able take an active role in mentoring junior team members in best practice and bringing about new initiatives to develop the therapy service further.The organisation places great emphasis on its cohesive model of care, and you will be able to work closely alongside psychologists, speech therapists, behaviour therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide the right support at the right time for each resident.In some cases, it may be necessary for you to travel to nearby areas as part of a comprehensive occupational therapy programme.This is a permanent, full-time Occupational Therapist position, working Mon-Fri (37.5h/week, no weekends or late finishes required).

Depending on your experience, your role will be equivalent to a Band 5, Band 6, or Band 7 position with the NHS.Person specification:You must have valid registration with the HCPC as an Occupational Therapist.Clinical experience of working with adults with learning disabilities, ASD, and associated challenging behaviours is preferred but not essential.A valid driving licence with access to personal transport is preferred but not essential.Benefits include:
