AA Euro Healthcare is currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Staff Grade Speech & Language Therapist based in North Wicklow.

About the Role

As a Staff Grade Speech & Language Therapist, you will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality, person-centred assessment and intervention services. You will support individuals with intellectual disabilities and their families to develop communication skills, increase participation, and improve overall wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

Complete communication and swallowing assessments where requiredDevelop and implement individualised therapy programmesSupport service users to achieve communication and participation goalsProvide guidance, training, and support to families and staff teamsWork closely with multidisciplinary colleagues to deliver coordinated careMaintain accurate clinical records and documentationPromote evidence-based practice and person-centred supports

Requirements

Degree in Speech & Language TherapyCORU registration, or eligibility for registration with CORUStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary teamCommitment to person-centred and evidence-based practiceDysphagia qualification may be required for some posts
