Solar PV Installer – New Build Housing Projects
£45,000 Basic Salary + £10,000 Annual Bonus (Uncapped) + Company Van

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Solar PV Installer to support the delivery of renewable energy systems across large-scale new build housing developments. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a rapidly expanding business at the forefront of the UK's transition to clean energy.

The Role

Working in a regional capacity, you will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of Solar PV systems on new build residential developments. You'll work closely with site teams, project managers, and quality teams to ensure installations are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

The role offers regional travel only, meaning you'll be home every night.

Key Responsibilities

Installation of Solar PV systems on new build housing developmentsElectrical testing, commissioning, and fault-findingEnsuring all work complies with current regulations and company standardsMaintaining excellent health and safety practices on siteCompleting installation documentation accurately and efficientlyWorking collaboratively with site managers, electricians, and project teams

Essential Requirements

18th Edition qualified (BS7671)Previous Solar PV installation experienceECS/CSCS cardFull UK driving licenceStrong understanding of electrical installation standardsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Desirable

Level 3 Electrical Qualification (NVQ or equivalent)Solar PV qualification and commissioning experienceExperience working on new build housing developments
