Apprentice Heavy Vehicle Technician
You’ll train as a qualified vehicle technician whilst working on HGVs and refuse collection Vehicles. Welding and fabrication repairs will also be carried out. The successful candidate can expect a high-quality training package with excellent career prospects.
To engage in formal training and education over a defined period and return to the workforce to shadow and learn from mentors and colleagues. Complete exams & assignments and ensure all assignment work is completed in a timely manner and to a high standard. Complete training plan. Follow health and safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe workspace. Accurately complete job records, training logs, and documentation. Training:
The apprenticeship training is delivered via weekly block releases at S&B throughout the year. Learning will also take place in the workplace, and a S&B Development Coach and Workplace Mentor are allocated to support and monitor your progress to help you reach your goals and manage your workload. Your employer will pay you when you are attending weekly training blocks at S&B.
