Accountant Apprentice

As an apprentice/trainee accountant, the successful candidate will be expected to:

Prepare income & expenditure accounts using IRIS accounting software Be able to interpret a trial balance from numerous accounting software packages Produce accounts from a trial balance or manual records for sole traders, partnerships, and or limited companies

Additional works will include:

The preparation of VAT returns The preparation of Management accounts Drafting corporation and personal tax returns

Full study support will be given to complete the AAT qualification.



Training:

The apprentice will be expected to attend college one day per week to work towards their AAT Level 3 qualification.

In addition they will be allocated with an assessor who will visit them within the workplacde, once every 6-8 weeks.



Training Outcome:

Ability to grow and progress within the organisation; full study support including ICAEW training contracts.

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm (1.00pm - 2.00pm lunch).
