Machining Technician Apprentice

Duties will include but are not limited to:

Running CNC Machine creating prototypes, one-offs and batch work. Using controls. Learning about quality control. Assembling parts. Daily tasks.

Training:

You will be working towards a Level 3 Machining Technician apprenticeship standard.

You will receive on and off-the-job training and support from an Assessor and an Apprenticeship Advisor.

You will be required to attend Cornwall College Camborne on a one day a week basis as part of your apprenticeship training.



Training Outcome:

Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, the apprentice will be offered a full-time position within the company.

As a one stop shop they are in the unique position of being able to provide the customer with the design and manufacture of tooling, die casting the component, machine finishing and powder coating. Working Hours :
Monday – Thursday 08:00am - 16:30pm with a 30 minute lunch break. Friday 08:00am - 12:30pm.
