Semi-Senior Accountant – Buckingham | Salary: £25,000 – £35,000 per annum | Permanent | Full-Time

We are recruiting on for an experienced and ambitious Semi-Senior Accountant to join their growing team based in Buckingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a part-qualified accountant who is looking to develop their skills within a supportive and professional environment.

You will work closely with a portfolio of clients across a wide range of industries, delivering high-quality accounts preparation, tax compliance, and advisory services. This role offers excellent scope for progression and ongoing study support.

Key Responsibilities
Preparation of year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companiesAssistance with corporation tax and personal tax returnsBookkeeping and VAT return preparationSupporting senior team members with client queries and ad hoc projectsLiaising directly with clients to gather financial information and resolve queriesAssisting with management accounts preparationMaintaining up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards and tax legislationRequirements
Part-qualified ACA or ACCA (or AAT qualified and looking to progress)Previous experience within a UK accountancy practiceStrong working knowledge of accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage)Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environmentA proactive, client-focused approachWhat's on Offer
