LANCASHIRE AREA
UP TO £80,000 to £100,000 BASE + ANNUAL BONUS + BENEFITS

THE COMPANY:
Get Recruited has been exclusively appointed to seek an experienced Head of Operations to join a highly successful consumer focused business that operates within the food manufacturing space.
The business is embarking an exciting phase of growth and as they’re set to triple in size in the next 2 years, and as such, the business craves an experienced, driven and passionate operations professional to assist with scaling the business, whilst seeking efficiency.
As Head of Operations, you’ll be responsible for running a multi-site operation where you’ll be indirectly leading a team of c.200 and be directly responsible for a team of 6 which includes; Technical, Engineering, H&S, Hygiene and Factory Management.
This position would suit an individual who is either looking to either take a step up to the Head of Operations position, or someone who is already operating at this level, with experience in the Food Manufacturing arena, ideally with an Engineering skill set.
THE PERSON:

Must have experience at Operations Manager or Head of Operations level within a Food Manufacturing business.
Excellent hands-on people leadership skills who is able to demonstrate credibility and use their personality to inject their energy, drive and passion into the workforce.
A good understanding of a complex engineering environment, with a complex manufacturing process and the ability to conduct basic diagnosis
Experience of Setting Budgets, Managing Key CAPEX expansion projects and Managing Budget
Able to demonstrate previous improvement projects which includes both people development and process efficiency's.
A track record of setting key measures and ensuring operational and wider business objectives are achieved.
Experience within a Meat Manufacturing Environment with good knowledge of Food Hygiene and HCAPP standards is not essential but would be a significant advantage.
