Assistant Project Manager
A Client within the Private sector is currently recruiting for an Assistant/Junior Project Manager to join their team as soon as possible.
This is a full time, permanent role with the ideal candidate having experience using Auto CAD and working with the construction sector, ideally within a Commercial Fit Out environment.
The main purpose of the role is support the current project manager with interior Fit out projects.
The main responsibilities:
Provide key support to the Project Managers and Finance Director in order to complete the annual budget and monthly forecast
WIP management and reporting
Assist Project Team with commercial analysis and guidance
Developing and maintaining external relationships are key
Assist with preparing and analysing project costings for tenders in line with PAS20:30 standards
Assist with preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities
Assist with performing risk, value management and cost control during construction
Have awareness of the different building contracts in current use, (in particular NEC)
Good understanding of implications of Health and Safety regulations
Manage the interface with suppliers/contractors and internal partners to ensure value for money and appropriate commercial controls are embedded in all contracts.
Assist with all post contact commercial matters including negotiating/agreeing compensation events
The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering between £35,000 - £40,000 per annum.
