Mobile Mechanical Engineer - Up to £46,000 - Commercial Portfolio - East London
CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for a Mobile Mechanical Engineer to be based in the East London area, carrying out planned and reactive commercial building maintenance across a portfolio of commercial buildings. The successful candidate will currently be a mobile Mechanical Engineer and have a strong understanding of servicing, repairing, and installing heating systems and plumbing works at various commercial properties.
This position would be ideal for a Mobile Mechanical Engineer currently in a similar position who is keen on progression. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary in the region of up to £46,000 with a potential route into further career progression.
Key duties & Responsibilities
Monitor mechanical plantPumps, Motors, Seals, BearingsPlumbing - Unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washersBMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & cold)Carry out all aspects of M&E/Fabric maintenanceMaintain and update LogbooksWorking to Planned Preventative and Reactive maintenance regimesChanging taps/washers Install and replace hot water cylinders, pipework, Boilers, Temperature check the repair and servicing of mechanical & electrical (M&E) equipment, PPM & reactive.Managing priorities within contract constraints. Working within a multi-disciplinary team to achieve set goals. Participation in standby rota for emergency calls outside normal working hours.Providing information for the pricing of M&E works where applicable, for minor projects and maintenance.

Requirements
Qualified to City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 (recognised trade qualification).Able to undergo and pass a DBSQualified to work with Central heating, Water heaters, pipe work, Unvented hot water, HVAC systemsFull clean driving license.
