Maintenance Engineer Apprentice

To learn and perform scheduled and preventative maintenance of plant services and equipment to detect and prevent problems Assist with the installation, repair, adjustment and testing of equipment and components to ensure that systems function properly Follow work processes and safety standards closely to ensure a safe working environment To be committed in working towards achieving the competencies set out in the apprenticeship standards Maintain an apprenticeship training record to be produced when required

Training:

As a Maintenance & Operations Engineering Technician Apprentice you will follow a structured training plan combining on-the-job learning with off-the-job technical training to help you develop the full set of skills, knowledge and behaviours required by the apprenticeship standard.

You will attend South Devon College one day per week.



Training Outcome:

The successful apprentice may have the opportunity to progress onto a Level 4 Higher Apprenticeship or a degree pathway depending on the role.
