Apprentice Groundworker

You will work as part of a small team, learning all aspects involved in the installation of hard landscaping projects including modular and slab paving, walling, fencing, groundworks and drainage Installations cover working with a wide range of hard landscaping materials and paving products The physical work is a demanding mixture of lifting, carrying, digging, moving, measuring etc. Working outdoors in all weathers

Training:
An apprenticeship allows you to earn a wage, gain valuable work experience and industry specific competence You will be expected to work towards the Groundworker Level 2 qualification, with support from your employer and the Chesterfield College Group Training schedule has yet to be agreed. Details will be made available at a later date

Training Outcome:

May lead on to a full time job after the apprenticeship is completed.

GWH Paving Services is a small, multi-award winning business installing high quality paving projects, predominantly for domestic clients. We are a Marshalls Accredited installer and a member of Derbyshire County Council’s Trusted Trader scheme.

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday 8.00am - 4.30pm with 1 hour of breaks per day.
