Machining Apprentice
Your training and responsibilities as a Machining Apprentice, will include (but not be limited to) the following:
Set and operate manual horizontal borers, lathes, milling and drilling machines as required Programme set and operate CNC horizontal borers, lathes and milling machines as required Accurately follow job cards and update accordingly Understand and read engineering drawings/symbols Operate overhead crane as required (once trained) Ensure correct marking up of component parts Work to quality standards required for the components and to maintain the ISO 9001 accreditation Cut materials from stock bar maintaining material identity at all times Undertake final inspections of finished components Maintaining a clean, organised and productive work area for colleagues and yourself When trained, ensure job timings are met/exceededYou’ll learn side-by-side with experienced engineers who are passionate about sharing their knowledge, giving you hands-on exposure to a wide range of tasks and a real understanding of how the whole business operates. Training:
Engineering Operative Level 2.
The successful candidate will continue their studies with apprenticeship specialists, RNN Group at their Worksop campus on a day release format, giving you the training and support you need to become an all-rounded and successful Engineer.
Training Outcome:
Further industry appropriate training.

Monday - Thursday: 7.30am - 4.30pm, Friday: 7.30pm - 12.30pm
