Lettings Team Apprentice

Providing administrative support to Senior Lettings Officers Assisting tenants to provide the documentation they need and arrange viewings Visiting tenants and landlords Learning about the legislation and council policies on housing, homelessness and the rights and responsibilities of both landlords and tenants Being a reliable point of contact for landlords, tenants and other teams including the homeless prevention team, using excellent customer service skills Work in partnership with other stakeholders, such as the Private Rented team, Adult Social Care and Children’s Services to ensure that people have access to sustainable tenancies in good quality accommodation Assist in providing regular reporting and statistical information to management about team outcomes

Training:
Attend in-person workshops at Weston College monthly Receive ongoing support from a dedicated assessor through regular workplace visits

Training Outcome:

After successfully completing the apprenticeship, you can progress onto a Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) course to further develop your career.

The Home Choice & Lettings Team is responsible for providing emergency accommodation, administering the social housing register and working with private landlords to find suitable homes for our customers.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday, between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm.
