Apprentice Engineering Fitter - Level 3

This apprenticeship is based at Cotswold Airport in Kemble from Monday to Wednesday and on Fridays, with a college day at Newbury College on Thursdays. Apprentices must be able to travel to both locations throughout the week.

Under the guidance of your Team Leader and Engineering Manager, you will:

Support aircraft dismantling and component removal activities on live aircraft Learn to interpret engineering drawings, manuals and technical procedures Assist with the safe use of tools, equipment and lifting operations Help ensure components are correctly handled, labelled and recorded Follow strict health and safety procedures in high-risk environments Maintain accurate records and support engineering documentation Participate in daily briefings, toolbox talks and operational planning Work as part of a team in varied and sometimes challenging environments

Monday - Thursday, 8.00am - 4.30pm and Friday, 8.00am - 4.00pm
