Apprentice Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2

A Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 apprentice may carry out the following day-to-day tasks:

Assisting with dispensing prescriptions under supervision Preparing and assembling medicines for patients Serving customers and responding to routine enquiries Managing and replenishing pharmacy stock Checking deliveries and storing medicines correctly Maintaining accurate records and patient information Supporting health and safety procedures Handling payments and operating tills Keeping the pharmacy clean, organised, and compliant Referring complex queries to qualified pharmacy staff Promoting pharmacy services and healthy living advice Following confidentiality and data protection requirements

These duties are completed under the guidance of trained pharmacy professionals while the apprentice develops their skills and knowledge.



Training:

100% remote delivery.



Training Outcome:

On completion, apprentices can progress to a Pharmacy Services Assistant role or undertake a Level 3 Pharmacy Technician apprenticeship. With further training and experience, they can develop specialist skills, take on greater responsibility, and progress into supervisory or registered Pharmacy Technician roles.

Working Hours :
Pharmacy opening hours: Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 7.00pm. Saturday, 9.00am - 4:30pm.
