Apprentice Business Admin

The successful candidate will provide administrative support across the business, assisting with day-to-day office duties and helping to ensure the smooth running of operations.

Responsibilities will include answering telephone calls, responding to emails, maintaining records, processing paperwork, filing documents, and providing excellent customer service to customers and suppliers.

The role offers hands-on experience in a varied office environment, working alongside experienced colleagues who will provide full training and support throughout the apprenticeship.

We are looking for an organised and reliable individual with good communication skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn. IT skills and a professional approach are essential.

Duties will include, but will not be limited to:

Answering telephone calls and directing enquiries appropriately. Responding to emails and providing excellent customer service. Processing and maintaining accurate records and documentation. Filing and organising paperwork, both electronically and manually. Assisting with data entry. Supporting colleagues with general administrative tasks. Scheduling appointments and managing diaries when required. Assisting with stock and supplier administration.

Training:
The successful candidate will work towards achieving their Apprenticeship Standard in Business Administration L3. A dedicated work-based trainer will be assigned to the candidate to provide them with support and guidance throughout the course. This is a predominantly work-based programme with College attendance required once a month. All learning will take place at the candidate's place of employment/College and within their contracted working hours.

Training Outcome:

This apprenticeship provides an excellent foundation for a long-term career in business administration and offers the opportunity to develop valuable workplace skills and experience.

Monday to Thursday 9am – 5pm (1hour break) Friday 9am – 2pm (30min break).
