Metal Fabricator Apprenticeship

An average week for the apprentice will be working from drawings to produce steel structures This would include marking out, grinding, drilling, folding, flame/plasma cutting and welding Other duties would include maintaining a clean and safe workspace and the loading and offloading of materials using overhead cranes and forklift (once training as been received)

Training:
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff

Training Outcome:
After the completion of the apprenticeship the candidate will have the opportunity to progress in the company in to foreman, draftsman or site work

Working Hours :
Monday - Thursday, 08:00 - 17:00 and Friday, 08:00 - 13:00
