Business Administration Apprentice

Potholders working to this job description may undertake any of the following main duties and responsibilities.

1. To deal with enquiries by telephone and face to face, and ensure that they are dealt with effectively and efficiently, e.g. answering routine queries and taking messages where appropriate.

2. Overseeing the correct operation of the telephone network.

3. To ensure that visitors to the school are received courteously and punctually whilst observing the appropriate security procedures.

4. Dealing with enquiries from staff and pupils as appropriate.

5. To assist with Trust-wide Archiving project.

6. Routine photocopying and document collation.

7. Undertaking a variety of clerical duties, including filing.

8. Provide cover / assistance to other members of staff as required.

9. To safeguard and promote the welfare of children for whom you come into contact with, to include adhering to all specified procedures.

10. To carry out your duties with full regard to the Trust’s Equality Policy.

11. To comply with Health and Safety policies, organisation's statements and procedures, report any incidents/accidents/hazards and take a pro-active approach to health and safety matters in order to protect both yourself and others.

12. Any other duties of a similar nature related to the post which may be required from time to time.



Training:

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.



Training Outcome:

An opportunity for a full-time position at the end of the apprenticeship.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday TTO + 5 PD days. Hours to be confirmed.
