Apprentice Maintenance / Electrical Fitter

Duties & Responsibilities:

To carry out breakdown and planned maintenance on production machinery and plant services

This role would suit a driven individual who is looking for a career in a skilled manual role with the below skills:

Supporting planned preventative maintenance on production machinery Assisting with breakdown repairs under supervision Learning how to diagnose faults and carry out corrective actions Developing skills in mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems Working safely and following engineering procedures Supporting continuous improvement and machine optimisation activities Excellent communication skills Punctual and reliable Keen attention to detail Flexible and adaptable as you are likely to undertake several different tasks during a shift

Training:

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

College or training organisation: EAST DURHAM COLLEGE

Your training course:

Mechatronics Engineering Technician.

Equal to Level 3 (A level).



Training Outcome:

Your earnings can increase over time with an apprenticeship.

Possibility of permanent employment and going on to complete further qualifications.

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm with a 1 hour unpaid lunch, working 40 hours per week.
