Regulatory Fee Earner

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Regulatory Fee Earner to join my client’s team, based in Leeds.
My client is a leading international legal firm with offices throughout the UK as well as worldwide! The firm offers a busy working environment and offers genuine flexibility to allow you to thrive not only in work, put in your personal commitments too.
As a Regulatory lawyer you can expect your duties to include:

Handling a busy and varied case load including a range of contentious and non-contentious regulatory issues for a variety of clients.
You will be expected to delegate work to junior fee earners and to assist with their supervision
Liaise with clients whilst building and maintaining positive relationships
Assist with business development activities with a view to developing and establishing contentious and non contentious work streams for the firm.

Where appropriate assist in the preparation and delivery of pitches, presentations and training events

The idea candidate will be a Charted Legal Executive or unqualified Fee Earner who has experience in advising on regulatory work including health and safety incident investigations, interviews under caution, prosecutions, environmental breaches, breaches of trading standards, food law and/or fire safety
You may also be required to travel at short notice in order to assist clients to manage situations, therefore a driving licence is essential.
