Apprentice Plumbing and Renewables Heating Engineer

Work will include full conversions of existing heating systems,  new installation (1st/2nd fix) of full heating systems including underfloor heating and radiators.  Bathroom work to include 1st/2nd fix. Installation (1st/2nd fix) of unvented systems.

This wil inlcude the following duties:

Fetching tools Taking floor boards up Chasing walls Cutting pipe Fixing pipe Insulating pipe Soldering fittings Crimp work

Training:

Plumbing and Domestic Heating Technician apprentices attend College on day release during in College term time and work for their employer for the rest of the time.

Training Outcome:

Qualify as an engineer, progress to installation level, further business development available for anyone wishing to progress. We are now an employee ownership trust so no ceiling to career progression

Mon – Fri 08.00 (Our yard – Thirsk ) -16.30 (30min break)
