Assembly Fitter

We are currently recruiting for a Assembly Fitter to join our Production team in Blackpool.
This is a hands-on role working in a production environment, assembling and installing mechanical, hydraulic, and electric systems to engineering specifications. You will play a key role in building high-quality Vehicle Cabins while working to production schedules and quality standards.

Location: Blackpool
Hours: 37 hours per week | Monday to Thursday, 7am – 4.30pm
Pay Rate: £18.43 – £19.10 per hour (Dependant on experience and qualifications) + Overtime.

Key Responsibilities of the Assembly Fitter :

Assembling mechanical and electrical components using hand and power tools. Working to clear build instructions, on-screen guidance, and set production times. Ensuring all products are built to a high standard and are fully functional and defect-free. Identifying and reporting quality issues and supporting resolutions. Maintaining consistent output while meeting targets and deadlines. Collaborating with team members and supporting smooth production flow. Taking ownership of quality and contributing to continuous improvement.

Skills & Experience Required :

Experience in an assembly, manufacturing, or fitting environment. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately. Confidence using hand tools and power tools. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. A proactive, reliable, and team-focused attitude. Flexibility to support overtime or additional shifts when required.
