IT Support Apprentice
Provide first-line technical support to staff and learners
Diagnose and troubleshoot common hardware, software, and connectivity issues
Assist users with Microsoft 365 applications and other college systems
Set up, configure, and deploy laptops, desktops, tablets, and other devices
Install and update software applications
Maintain IT equipment inventories and asset records
Assist with equipment repairs and warranty processes
Support classroom technology, printers, and audiovisual equipment
Help diagnose basic network connectivity issues
Assist with user account administration and access permissions
Follow college IT security policies and procedures
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Support compliance with GDPR and safeguarding requirements
Training:
The Apprentice will attend Sheffield College - City Campus one day per week.
