Adults Social Worker

A Local Authority in Hertfordshire is looking for a Locum Adults Social Worker to join their Older People/Physical Disabilities Team.

This role involves conducting face to face visits and working with vulnerable adults over 65.

Your responsibilities as a Locum Adults Social Worker:

Implement care plans and care packages
Carry out Care Act 2014 assessments
Carry out MCA assessments
Undertake Section 42 enquires
Carry out the best level of care and services for the benefit of the service user
Liaising with other practitioners for the benefit of the service user
Working with vulnerable adults that may have Learning Difficulties, Mental Health and Older People


Requirements of you as a Locum Adults Social Worker:

A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
A valid Social Work England registration
Have competent knowledge and experience of Community work
A valid UK driving licence and vehicle is preferred for this role


Location: Stevenage
Umbrella pay rate: Up to £32 per hour
