Senior Sous Chef Brief Duties

Support the Head Chef in all aspects of the daily running of the kitchenLead and inspire the brigade, ensuring a positive and productive working environmentTake responsibility for kitchen operations in the Head Chef's absenceMaintain exceptional standards of food preparation, presentation, and consistencyAssist with menu development, seasonal specials, and creative inputOversee stock control, ordering, and cost management proceduresTrain, mentor, and develop junior members of the kitchen teamEnsure compliance with all food hygiene, health & safety, and company standards

Senior Sous Chef Requirements

Previous experience as a Senior Sous Chef or an established Sous Chef within a quality fresh-food operationStrong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a kitchen teamPassion for fresh food and Italian-inspired cuisineExcellent organisational skills and attention to detailAbility to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced service environmentCommercial awareness and understanding of kitchen financial controlsAmbitious, professional, and committed to maintaining high standardsAll applications will be treated in the strictest confidence.
