Electronic & Software Engineering Apprenticeship (Degree)

Daily Duties:

Support design of electronic systems and circuits at component level Develop, write and document structured software code Assist with testing products and developing test plans Contribute to project planning (time, resources, contingencies) Work across hardware, embedded software and systems engineering Rotate through manufacturing, design and engineering teams Support fault finding, product validation and qualification Use engineering documentation, quality and HSE systems

Training:
Rotations across engineering departments (hardware, software, systems, manufacturing) Structured on-site training and project work Mentoring from experienced engineers Hands-on experience with real design and development projects Participation in community and team projects

Training Outcome:
Progression into roles such as Hardware Engineer, Software Engineer or Systems Engineer Opportunities across global Baker Hughes teams Potential for international travel Continued professional development in engineering
