Manufacturing Technician Apprenticeship

Learn to assemble, wire, test, and inspect products in line with technical drawings Work across both mechanical and electrical disciplines Follow manufacturing processes to ensure quality and consistency Interpret engineering drawings and documentation Support fault finding down to module/sub-assembly level Use test equipment such as oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, and pressure sensors Assist with product system setup and testing Learn high voltage, pressure, and hydraulic testing processes Develop understanding of software, firmware, and industrial systems Use business IT systems including engineering documentation and quality systems

Training:
Year 1 - Full-time in college Year 2 - Day release Year 3 & 4 - Full-time in the workplace

Training Outcome:
Progression to a Level 4 Apprenticeship Potential move into a Degree Apprenticeship Opportunities to develop into roles such as Manufacturing Technician, Test Engineer, or Specialist Engineer.
