Registered Veterinary Nurse
An opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join an independent veterinary practice with a strong reputation for delivering compassionate care and building lasting relationships with clients and their pets. As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will provide high-quality nursing care, support clinical procedures and contribute to the smooth running of the practice. This full-time role offers a salary range of £30,000 - £33,000 and benefits. Part-time hours candidates will also be considered. You will be responsible for: ? Conducting nurse consultations and providing advice to clients. ? Assisting Veterinary Surgeons during consultations and surgical procedures. ? Delivering a high standard of inpatient nursing care. ? Supporting patient admissions and discharges. ? Processing and running laboratory samples. ? Maintaining and managing your designated clinical workspace. ? Supervising work experience students within the practice. ? Providing clinical coaching and support to Student Veterinary Nurses when required. What we are looking for: ? Previously worked as a Registered Veterinary Nurse, Veterinary Nurse, Registered Nurse or in a similar role. ? Registered Veterinary Nurse status with the RCVS. ? Prior experience within a veterinary clinical setting. ? Confidence in both medical and surgical nursing duties. ? Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload efficiently. Shift: ? Working hours: 37 hours per week. ? You can choose to work either:? 4 days per week, with 9.25-hour shifts, or ? A similar number of hours spread across 5 days. ?
